Saving endangered languages from being forgotten
During the second world war, the United States used first nations soldiers who spoke an obscure dialect. These soldiers could communicate secret information as there wasn't any way for the enemy to understand whant they were saying. The movie Windtalkers was a fictional story based on the use of these speakers.
